In fact, I am always here, except that I have not done any updates till now. Time really flies. That's scary. I still have not given up on studying physics, though taking a bachelor degree in physics is difficult due to financial constraint.

Just this Aug, I went to Germany, Bayreuth, and this stretched for 7 weeks, all the way till end Sept. I went there for my summer program to study German as a foreign language. Meanwhile I also went to Salzburg, Austria. That was my first time going to Europe, and alone. This lets me really feel proud of myself. I got to see the buildings and all others, all are so beautiful and all very different designs from my homeland (of course I live in the east). We went to the old opera houses, museums, old churches and houses of famous people like Richard Wagner. They really opened my eyes, they have buildings few hundreds years old and are still preserved. And I went to Mozarts houses in Salzburg. He had two houses, one was his living house (Mozarts Wohnhaus) and the other was his birth house (Mozarts Geburtshaus). I bought lots of Mozartkugeln. All are native, made in Salzburg. I also went to Munich alone, too bad that i had missed the Oktoberfest there.

I love the food there, esp the beers, sausages and ice-creams, though I dislike pork and never take beef and mutton. It is really cool to learn how they are skilled to pour the beers till the foam is high enough.

The weather there is scary. It's only summer there and yet the temperature can be 10 to 16 deg during the day and 7 to 10 deg at night. It was better during Aug, which ranged from 20 to 24 deg. It is considered to be very cold to us. Our temperature here is usually 33 deg and lowest is just 26 deg, usually in Dec. We consider 26 to 29 deg as cold. But ever since I came back to Germany, I no longer regard this as 'cold'. During my trip there, when the weather forecasted the temperature to be 20 deg, most of us there let out a sign of relief. Now, I do miss there and hope I can go there next time to experience the winter.

I went to Switzerland too, but only at the airport in Zurich. Cool place! I have bought nice chocolates back home!
